Next month will mark a year that I’ve been running this blog and associated Instagram account. In that time, I’ve edited Sarah Blue multiple times, entered a few Writer’s Digest contests, been interviewed by Keystrokes & Closed Doors, and gained a little over 500 followers on #IG.
This month, I’m focusing on crafting my query letter, reviewing several poems for the Persea Books contest, and working on a short-story for another Writer’s Digest contest. In addition to those projects, I’ve recently had another writer contact me and request a collaboration on a poem. It’s not something I’ve done before and I’m excited to try it out.
Eventually, I would like to tighten the focus of this blog; but, for now, it will remain a mix of resources, stories, updates on my projects, and of course, my random musings.
It’s raining pretty steadily tonight and will be all weekend, thanks to Joaquin. I hope to get a good number of words down while the rain pours. If you’re anywhere near me or the storm, stay safe and dry.
Your Homework: It’s the final quarter of 2015. What are you going to do to finish your year off strong?
