Thanks to a billing error, my site was temporarily taken down. As you can see, it’s back up but not everything is where it belongs. I’m not sure how my theme got changed or why things are missing but I am aware of it and working on the problem.
I did receive my WD critique back and …wow…I was so excited. I’ll post a snippet of it once I get everything back where in its proper place! 🙂
I’ve been working on Sarah Blue when I get time, which as of late, has been minimal. I was fortunate enough to receive a gift card to Writers Digest recently and I used it to submit a portion of my MS to their 2nd Draft Critique service. I should have it back in a few weeks. I’m very curious what they have to say about it. I feel like Sarah Blue is definitely in its final stages and I’ve started creating a list of editors and agents that I’m interested in contacting.
I’m anxious to be done with this story, but I don’t want to rush it. I just feel very ready to move onto my next project. Realistically, writing the book is just phase one in the path to publishing but I’m still anxious to start on it’s sequel.
Check back in a few weeks and I’ll share my notes from Writers Digest (provided they aren’t overly scathing ;)).
I plan to launch the Paper Perfect Interview Series in January. If you have a project you’d like to discuss or a book you’d like to market, email me at EverythingOnPaperIsPerfect@yahoo.com or message me on Instagram!
Are you job hunting?
I’ve recently posted an article on LinkedIn that may help you with your job applications.
I feel the information also transfers to writing your query, so check it out, even if you’re not job hunting right this minute.

The last few weeks have been busy. I’ve edited several chapters of Sarah Blue and sketched out lines for a new character. I’ve tried my hand at salsa dancing, been to several festivals, and made a new writing contact.
I’m slowly filling up my writing arsenal but haven’t dedicated as much time as I’d like to finishing Sarah Blue. My goal is to get it out by October at the latest and I plan to return to my regular weekly writing schedule next week.
Once Sarah Blue enters Queery Status, I plan to begin my Author Interview series. If you’d like to be interviewed or have your book reviewed email me @ EverythingOnPaperIsPerfect@yahoo.com or DM me on Instagram.
